I went out the other night to Johnny Brenda’s and ended up seeing the No Kids, totally my new favorite band. They are kind of an artschool hipster version of R Kelly from Vancouver, British Columbia. Check them out here, http://www.myspace.com/nokidsband.

Digby and Iona is one of my ultimate favorite jewelry lines. His pieces are so poetic. He now has a blog to show recent works, which can be viewed at,

Here is the new
Charlotte’s Web hoodie from Moonblood. The hoodie is a mix of cozy textures and a delicate screenprint of spiders and wheat fronds.

I am obsessed with
Diane von Furstenberg’s latest ad campaign, shot by French artist François-Marie Banier. My favorite aspect of the campaign is the hand written script collaged onto the shot below.

I typically like Rachel Comey’s use of print, but the knitwear in her fall ‘08 collection really made an impression on me. I absolutely love the sweater dress.

With spring just around the corner, I’ve been scouring the net for warm weather duds. I love dressing comfortably, and theres no better way to do that than by taking an alternate spin to the classic tee. I love this over-sized nautical top from Whitley Kros. The buttons down the back are really cute.

This knit dress from Japanese designer Tsumori Chisato is also really chic. I could see this paired with flats or heels for a clean and simplistic look.

Stella McCartney’s Fall ‘08 collection is incredible. I love how she incorporated felt into the line with voluminous jackets and cutout mini dresses. I want the entire second outfit from head to toe.

These adorable wooden bags were probably my favorite part of the entire show.

Boho looks are definitely beginning to creep back onto the runways this season. I loved the Anna Sui fall collection. It was such a beautiful mash up of rich color and eccentric prints. I especially enjoyed these outrageous embroidered boots.

The Gucci collection was also pretty amazing. Inspired by Russian folklore, the line featured adorable peasant tops and fringed riding boots. I love how they layered thick sashes with skinny leather belts.

So, I’ve been on the hunt for Paul Smith-ish wallpaper for my entrance hall. As it seems as though there isn’t much in the vein available in the wallpaper world. I asked Grace over at D*’s, and she mentioned
Flavor Paper’s Ribbon Candy Stripe. I also love their
Ziggy Diamond shown below.

I just came across the work of illustrator
Chrissie Abbott. Her various typographies and collages are awesome. Definitely check out her site, and the two page illustration she created for the February issue of
Nylon.
